Parrot can not tell you when they feel sick. Symptoms that parrots are sick is sometimes difficult to identify. Most disease in parrots is caused by poor nutrition and stress. The best way to detect the disease is by getting to know your parrots and determine whether the parrots behaving normally or not. Here are some signs and symptoms that indicate the parrot is sick:
1. Parrot's behavior.
Note whether the parrot so much less speak out or stop jumping up and down and just sits still. Parrots who previously agile then suddenly become less active can signify something wrong. Another example of abnormal behavior is parrots be shivering when the weather is not cold, stopped eating and drinking, and suddenly started to become aggressive or fussy. Parrot's head that fell limp can also be a sign of disease, being an increase in tail bobbing movement could mean parrots have trouble breathing.
2. Parrot's Shit.
Normally parrots defecate quite a lot. Even though it's bit disgusting, note the color and consistency. If shit is not as usual, most likely parrots having problems.
3. The eating and drinking habits.
If the parrot changing eating and drinking habits suddenly, the parrots may be sick.
4. Consider other physical signs.
Nose or watery eyes, feather disheveled, limping leg is swollen or signs of disease in parrots. If it turns out the parrot is ill, in some cases you may be able to take care of themselves. However, for more severe cases, immediately take your parrot to the vet to get proper treatment.
